Virginia High School Softball - Windsor topped by Grassfield
May 12, 2023: Chesapeake, VA 23323 In Friday's non-league contest, the Grassfield Grizzlies (Chesapeake, VA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Windsor Dukes (Windsor, VA), by a margin of 11-0.
With the triumph, Grassfield moves its record to 16-3 on the year. The Grizzlies travel to Hickory (Chesapeake, VA) to play the Hawks in a Southeastern contest on Tuesday, May 16. The Hawks come into the contest with a record of 15-4. Hickory won 8-1 in their recent league contest against Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA)
In their next game, the Dukes play the Surry County Cougars (Dendron, VA) in a Tri-Rivers contest, on Monday, May 15. Windsor will attempt to move on its 16-4 season record.
