Massachusetts High School Baseball - Barnstable defeats New Bedford
May 12, 2025: New Bedford, MA 02740 The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Barnstable Red Hawks (Hyannis, MA) and the host New Bedford Whalers (New Bedford, MA), saw Barnstable's baseball team gain a win over New Bedford by a tally of 5-0.
The Red Hawks (5-9) will now prepare for their battle against Bridgewater-Raynham (Bridgewater, MA). The Trojans enter the Old Colony battle with a 7-11 record. In their last battle, Bridgewater-Raynham was overwhelmed by Sandwich (East Sandwich, MA), 9-8, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Whalers face the Brockton Boxers (Brockton, MA) in a Big Three battle, on Monday, May 12. New Bedford will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record.
