Connecticut High School Baseball - Plainfield loses to New London
May 12, 2025: New London, CT 06320 New London Whalers (New London, CT) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Plainfield Panthers (Central Village, CT), 10-1 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, New London advances its record to 7-7 on the season. The Whalers host Windham (Willimantic, CT) to battle the Whippets in a non-league match on Tuesday, May 13. The Whippets come into the match with a record of 1-13. Windham lost 7-1 in their recent non-league match against Killingly (Killingly, CT)
The Panthers now have a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Killingly for a non-league match on Thursday, May 15. Plainfield will battle a Redmen squad coming off a 6-1 league win over St. Bernard (Uncasville, CT). The Redmen record now stands at 11-3.
