May 12, 2025: Williamsburg, VA 23188 Menchville Monarchs (Newport News, VA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Warhill Lions (Williamsburg, VA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Menchville moves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Monarchs host Phoebus (Hampton, VA) to clash with the Phantoms in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 13. The Phantoms come into the test with a record of 4-4. Phoebus lost 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Gloucester (Gloucester, VA)
The Lions now sport a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they host Tabb for a non-league test on Wednesday, May 14. Warhill will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to York (Yorktown, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-1.
