Minnesota High School Lacrosse - Hopkins sneaks past Centennial
May 12, 2025: Circle Pines, MN 55014 Fans at Monday's non-league test between the Hopkins Royals (Minnetonka, MN) and the host Centennial Cougars (Circle Pines, MN), witnessed Hopkins's lacrosse squad hold off Centennial by a count of 9-8.
The Royals (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Edina (Edina, MN). The Hornets enter the non-league test with a 8-3 record. In their last test, Edina nipped Blake (Minneapolis, MN), 20-11, in a non-league test.
Next, the Cougars battle the Maple Grove Crimson (Maple Grove, MN) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, May 14. Centennial will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Crimson enter the test with a 3-2 record after their 15-3 non-league win over Chanhassen (Chanhassen, MN).
