Illinois High School Lacrosse - Resurrection overwhelms Providence Catholic
May 12, 2025: New Lenox, IL 60451 Fans at Monday's league contest between the Resurrection Bandits (Chicago, IL) and the host Providence Catholic Celtics (New Lenox, IL), witnessed Resurrection's lacrosse squad top Providence Catholic by a score of 11-1.
The Bandits (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL). The Roadrunners enter the non-league contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Nazareth Academy beat Metea Valley (Aurora, IL), 20-10, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Celtics meet the St. Francis Spartans (Wheaton, IL) in a Chicago Catholic contest, on Wednesday, May 14. Providence Catholic will attempt to better on its 0-8 season record. The Spartans enter the contest with a 7-10 record after their 6-5 non-league loss to Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL).
