Iowa High School Soccer - Regina knocks off West Branch
May 12, 2025: Iowa City, IA 52245 The Regina Regals soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting West Branch Bears to 1 in the Regals league victory on Monday.
The Regals now hold a 9-6 record. They play next when they host Mt. Vernon for a non-league bout on Thursday, May 15. Regina will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Benton (Van Horne, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-6.
With the loss, West Branch moves to 6-6 on the year. The Bears host West Liberty (West Liberty, IA) to encounter the Comets in a River Valley bout on Friday, May 16. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 5-10. West Liberty won 6-0 in their recent non-league bout against Clear Creek-Amana (Tiffin, IA)
