May 12, 2025: Solon, OH 44139 Benedictine Bengals (Cleveland, OH) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Solon Comets (Solon, OH), 4-2 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Benedictine advances its record to 7-5 on the season. The Bengals travel to Madison (Madison, OH) to battle the Blue Streaks in a non-league match on Tuesday, May 13. The Blue Streaks come into the match with a record of 11-2. Madison won 11-1 in their recent league match against Geneva (Geneva, OH)
The Comets now have a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Twinsburg for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 13. Solon will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 5-1.
