California High School Baseball - La Jolla defeats El Capitan
May 12, 2025: La Jolla, CA 92037 The La Jolla Vikings (La Jolla, CA) baseball the visiting El Capitan Vaqueros (Lakeside, CA), 9-4 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Vikings now own a 17-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to La Jolla Country Day for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 15. La Jolla will clash with a Torreys team coming off a 2-2 league Classical Academy (Escondido, CA). The Torreys record now stands at 10-7.
With the defeat, El Capitan drops to 12-11 on the year. The Vaqueros travel to Grossmont (El Cajon, CA) to clash with the Foothillers in a challenge on Tuesday, May 13. The Foothillers go into the challenge with a record of 13-11. Grossmont won 8-6 in their recent league challenge against Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA)
