The Hoover Cardinals softball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Castle Park Trojans to 12 in the Cardinals non-league win on Monday.

The Cardinals now sport a 3-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln for a battle on Tuesday, May 13. Hoover will confront a Hornets team coming off a 20-13 league loss to Kearny (San Diego, CA). The Hornets record now stands at 0-5.

With the loss, Castle Park moves to 0-4 on the season. The Trojans travel to Sweetwater (National City, CA) to confront the Red Devils in a battle on Tuesday, May 13. The Red Devils come into the battle with a record of 5-3.
