The New Prairie Cougars (New Carlisle, IN) softball routed the host Boone Grove Wolves (Valparaiso, IN), 6-1 in Monday's non-league outing.

The Cougars now sport a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Penn for a Northern Indiana outing on Tuesday, May 13. New Prairie will encounter a Kingsmen team coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Crown Point (Crown Point, IN). The Kingsmen record now stands at 15-3.

With the loss, Boone Grove moves to 10-10 on the season. The Wolves host Westville (Westville, IN) to encounter the Blackhawks in a non-league outing on Thursday, May 15.
