South Dakota High School Softball - Dakota Valley bounces Centerville
May 12, 2025: North Sioux City, SD 57049 The Dakota Valley Panthers softball team scored 18 runs and held the visiting Centerville Tornadoes to 0 in the Panthers non-league win on Monday.
The Panthers now possess a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lennox for a Class A battle on Tuesday, May 13. Dakota Valley will confront a Orioles team coming off a 10-0 league loss to Dell Rapids (Dell Rapids, SD). The Orioles record now stands at 3-13.
With the loss, Centerville moves to 0-9 on the season. The Tornadoes travel to Alcester-Hudson (Alcester, SD) to confront the Cubs in a non-league battle on Friday, May 16. The Cubs come into the battle with a record of 14-2. Alcester-Hudson won 15-5 in their recent non-league battle against Chester (Chester, SD)
