The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Ridgedale Rockets (Morral, OH) and the host Elgin Comets (Marion, OH), witnessed Ridgedale's softball team defeat Elgin by a margin of 10-1.

The Rockets now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Berne Union for a non-league outing on Wednesday, May 14. Ridgedale will encounter a Rockets team coming off a 15-5 non-league win over Delaware Christian (Delaware, OH). The Rockets record now stands at 14-10.
