May 12, 2025: Portland, TN 37148 The Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet Royals softball squad (Nashville, TN), was routed 18-3 in Monday's non-league contest with the host Portland Panthers (Portland, TN)
With the triumph, Portland improves its record to 10-14 on the year. The Panthers host Station Camp (Gallatin, TN) to face the Bison in a 3A District 9 contest on Wednesday, May 14. The Bison enter the contest with a record of 20-10. Station Camp won 15-0 in their recent non-league contest against Lawson (Nashville, TN)
The Royals now hold a 14-10 record.
