The North Posey Vikings triumphed over the visiting Pike Central Chargers softball squad by a count of 14-6 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Vikings meet the Wood Memorial Trojans (Oakland City, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, May 13. North Posey will attempt to upgrade on its 13-11 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 9-8 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Perry Central (Leopold, IN).

The Chargers (4-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Forest Park (Ferdinand, IN). The Rangers enter the Pocket challenge with a 5-14 record. In their last challenge, Forest Park was routed by Heritage Hills (Lincoln City, IN), 14-4, in a league challenge.
