The Ripley Vikings baseball team (Ripley, WV), was overwhelmed 8-3 in Wednesday's league outing with the visiting Parkersburg Big Reds (Parkersburg, WV)

The Big Reds now hold a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wheeling Park for a non-league outing on Thursday, May 13. Parkersburg will confront a Patriots team coming off a 10-0 league win over Brooke (Wellsburg, WV). The Patriots record now stands at 10-2.

Next, the Vikings confront the St. Albans Red Dragons (St. Albans, WV) in a Mountain State outing, on Thursday, May 13. Ripley will attempt to advance on its 6-8 season record. The Red Dragons go into the outing with a 5-4 record after their 10-1 league win over Man (Man, WV).
