Connecticut High School Baseball - Bridgeport Central loses to Warde
May 13, 2022: Fairfield, CT 06430 The Warde Mustangs crushed the visiting Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers baseball team by a count of 16-0 in Friday's league bout.
The Mustangs now possess a 15-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Trumbull for a Fairfield County bout on Monday, May 16. Warde will face a Eagles team coming off a 4-2 league win over McMahon (Norwalk, CT). The Eagles record now stands at 12-5.
Next, the Hilltoppers face the Stamford Black Knights (Stamford, CT) in a Fairfield County bout, on Monday, May 16. Bridgeport Central will attempt to move on its 1-16 season record. The Black Knights enter the bout with a 6-11 record after their 9-3 league loss to Darien (Darien, CT).
