The Big Rapids Cardinals routed the visiting Chippewa Hills Warriors softball squad by a final score of 15-0 in Friday's league battle.
The Cardinals (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against Grant (Grant, MI). The Tigers go into the Central State Activities Association-Gold battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Grant topped Newaygo (Newaygo, MI), 11-2, in a league battle.
The Warriors now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Fremont for a Central State Activities Association-Gold outing on Wednesday, May 18.
