May 13, 2022: Corpus Christi, TX 78418 The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Flour Bluff Hornets (Corpus Christi, TX) and the visiting Veterans Memorial Chargers (Brownsville, TX), saw Flour Bluff's softball squad achieve victory over Veterans Memorial by a count of 10-1.
The Hornets now sport a 23-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to McCollum for a non-league match on Saturday, May 21. Flour Bluff will face a Cowboys squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Dripping Springs (Dripping Springs, TX). The Cowboys record now stands at 20-9.
With the loss, Veterans Memorial falls to 26-10 on the campaign.
