Maryland High School Softball - St. James holds off McConnellsburg
May 13, 2022: Hagerstown, MD 21740 St. James Saints (Hagerstown, MD) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting McConnellsburg Spartans (McConnellsburg, PA), 4-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Saints now own a 8-1 record.
With the loss, McConnellsburg falls to 4-13 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Shanksville Stonycreek (Shanksville, PA) to battle the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 16. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 4-10. Shanksville Stonycreek lost 23-12 in their recent league challenge against Shade (Cairnbrook, PA)
