Maine High School Softball - Morse nudges Mt. Ararat
May 13, 2022: Bath, ME 04530 Morse Shipbuilders (Bath, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Mt. Ararat Eagles (Topsham, ME), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Shipbuilders now own a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they host Lincoln Academy for a Class B South challenge on Monday, May 16.
With the loss, Mt. Ararat falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Eagles host Brunswick (Brunswick, ME) to battle the Dragons in a Class A North challenge on Monday, May 16. The Dragons enter the challenge with a record of 6-0. Brunswick won 9-3 in their recent league challenge against Oxford Hills (South Paris, ME)
