Pittston Patriots (Pittston, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Wyoming Area Warriors (Exeter, PA), 10-7 in a non-league test.

With the win, Pittston upgrades its record to 16-3 on the season.

With the defeat, Wyoming Area falls to 3-16 on the season. The Warriors travel to MMI Preparatory School (Freeland, PA) to battle the in a Wyoming Valley 2 test on Monday, May 15. The come into the test with a record of 7-13. MMI Preparatory School lost 8-4 in their recent non-league test against Mountain View (Kingsley, PA)
