May 13, 2023: Palatine, IL 60074 The Jones Eagles held off the host Palatine Pirates volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Eagles now have a 23-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Loyola Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, May 13. Jones will confront a Ramblers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Deerfield (Deerfield, IL). The Ramblers record now stands at 24-5.
The Pirates (14-16) will now prepare for their test against Deerfield (Deerfield, IL). The Warriors enter the non-league test with a 11-16 record. In their last test, Deerfield was nudged by Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
