Indiana High School Baseball - Pioneer holds off Kankakee Valley
May 13, 2023: Royal Center, IN 46978 Pioneer Panthers (Royal Center, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Kankakee Valley Kougars (Wheatfield, IN), 8-4 in a non-league test.
With the win, Pioneer upgrades its record to 12-6 on the season. The Panthers host Tippecanoe Valley (Akron, IN) to battle the Vikings in a non-league test on Monday, May 15. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 0-2. Tippecanoe Valley lost 13-3 in their recent non-league test against Glenn (Walkerton, IN)
With the defeat, Kankakee Valley falls to 10-8 on the season. The Kougars travel to Rensselaer Central (Rensselaer, IN) to battle the Bombers in a non-league test on Monday, May 15. The Bombers come into the test with a record of 3-3. Rensselaer Central won 10-0 in their recent non-league test against North Newton (Morocco, IN)
