May 13, 2023: Lake City, AR 72437 The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Riverside Rebels (Lake City, AR) and the visiting Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, AR), saw Riverside's softball squad nip Quitman by a count of 3-0.
The Rebels now sport a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mansfield for a non-league match on Thursday, May 18. Riverside will face a Tigers squad coming off a 14-4 non-league win over East Poinsett County (Lepanto, AR). The Tigers record now stands at 6-0.
With the loss, Quitman falls to 3-1 on the campaign.
