May 13, 2024: Fitchburg, MA 01420 Fitchburg Red Raiders (Fitchburg, MA) supporters left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Burncoat Patriots (Worcester, MA), 3-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Red Raiders clash with the Algonquin Regional Titans (Northborough, MA) in a Midland Wachusett match, on Thursday, May 16. Fitchburg will attempt to advance on its 8-6 season record. The Titans come into the match with a 3-9 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Framingham (Framingham, MA).
With the loss, Burncoat drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Patriots host South Lancaster Academy (South Lancaster, MA) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league match on Thursday, May 16. The Crusaders come into the match with a record of 11-2.
