Virginia High School Softball - Fluvanna County gets by Broadway
May 13, 2024: Palmyra, VA 22963 The Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA) softball nipped the visiting Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA), 9-8 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Flying Flucos (4-6) will now prepare for their bout against Goochland (Goochland, VA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 2-7 record. In their last bout, Goochland held off Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA), 13-0, in a non-league bout.
The Gobblers now possess a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Rockbridge County for a non-league bout on Wednesday, May 15. Broadway will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-9.
