Maine High School Softball - Cony bounces Winslow
May 13, 2024: Winslow, ME 04901 Spectators at Monday's league match between the Cony Rams (Augusta, ME) and the host Winslow Black Raiders (Winslow, ME), witnessed Cony's softball squad prevail over Winslow by a count of 19-5.
The Rams now sport a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Waterville for a Class B North match on Wednesday, May 15. Cony will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Lawrence (Fairfield, ME). The Panthers record now stands at 1-7.
With the loss, Winslow moves to 1-10 on the season. The Black raiders host Lawrence (Fairfield, ME) to meet the Bulldogs in a Class B North match on Friday, May 17. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 5-7. Lawrence lost 7-0 in their recent league match against Oceanside (Rockland, ME)
