The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Durand Railroaders (Durand, MI) and the host Alma Panthers (Alma, MI), saw Durand's baseball team get by Alma by a tally of 3-2.

The Railroaders (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against New Lothrop (New Lothrop, MI). The Hornets enter the Mid-Michigan battle with a 13-9 record. In their last battle, New Lothrop held off Mt. Morris (Mt. Morris, MI), 11-4, in a league battle.
