May 13, 2025: Wheaton, MO 64874 The Sarcoxie Bears triumphed over the host Wheaton Bulldogs baseball squad by a score of 15-3 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
Next up, the Bears encounter the Southwest Trojans (Washburn, MO) in a Class 3 District 12 outing, on Friday, May 16. Sarcoxie will attempt to advance on its 9-13 season record. The Trojans enter the outing with a 6-19 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Verona (Verona, MO).
The Bulldogs (5-12) will now prepare for their outing against McAuley Catholic (Joplin, MO). The Warriors enter the Class 1 District 5 outing with a 2-12 record. In their last outing, McAuley Catholic was overwhelmed by Lockwood (Lockwood, MO), 13-0, in a non-league outing.
