Michigan High School Soccer - Lutheran Northwest toppled by University Liggett
May 13, 2025: Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236 University Liggett Knights (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Lutheran Northwest Crusaders (Rochester Hills, MI), 7-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, University Liggett moves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Knights travel to L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league test on Monday, May 19. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 7-5. L'Anse Creuse North lost 5-0 in their recent non-league test against Utica Eisenhower (Shelby Township, MI)
The Crusaders now sport a 4-12 record. They take the field next when they host Plymouth Christian Academy for a Michigan Independent - Blue test on Thursday, May 15. Lutheran Northwest will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 league win over Inter-City Baptist (Allen Park, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 11-4.
