The Aurora Central Catholic Chargers triumphed over the host Geneva Vikings softball squad by a count of 17-5 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Chargers meet the Kaneland Knights (Maple Park, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, May 15. Aurora Central Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 22-8 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 16-11 record after their 9-6 league win over Morris (Morris, IL).

The Vikings (7-18) will now prepare for their challenge against Batavia (Batavia, IL). The Bulldogs enter the DuKane challenge with a 6-19 record. In their last challenge, Batavia was routed by Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL), 4-1, in a league challenge.
