New York High School Softball - Monroe knocked off by Batavia
May 13, 2025: Rochester, NY 14607 The Batavia Blue Devils overwhelmed the host Monroe Red Jackets softball squad by a count of 19-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.
Next, the Blue Devils meet the Pittsford Panthers (Pittsford, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, May 14. Batavia will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Panthers go into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Honeoye Falls-Lima (Honeoye Falls, NY).
The Red Jackets (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Edison Tech (Rochester, NY). The Inventors go into the non-league challenge with a 0-8 record. In their last challenge, Edison Tech was routed by Early College (Yonkers, NY), 6-3, in a non-league challenge.
