The Benton Central Bison (Oxford, IN) softball nipped the visiting Covington Trojans (Covington, IN), 7-6 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

The Bison now sport a 6-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harrison for a non-league outing on Thursday, May 15. Benton Central will encounter a Raiders team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Terre Haute South Vigo (Terre Haute, IN). The Raiders record now stands at 6-10.

With the loss, Covington moves to 7-14 on the season. The Trojans travel to South Vermillion (Clinton, IN) to encounter the Wildcats in a Wabash River outing on Friday, May 16.
