In Tuesday's non-league test, the Yellow Medicine East Sting (Granite Falls, MN) softball squad the host Ortonville Trojans (Ortonville, MN), by a count of 4-0.

Next, the Sting meet the Dawson-Boyd Blackjacks (Dawson, MN) in a Camden test, on Thursday, May 15. Yellow Medicine East will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Blackjacks go into the test with a 2-10 record after their 13-2 league loss to Lakeview (Cottonwood, MN).
