May 14, 2022: DeKalb, IL 60115 The DeKalb Barbs baseball team (DeKalb, IL), was overwhelmed 10-1 in Saturday's non-league outing with the visiting Dundee-Crown Chargers (Carpentersville, IL)
The Chargers now hold a 6-22 record. They play next when they travel to Kaneland for a non-league test on Wednesday, May 18. Dundee-Crown will battle a Knights squad coming off a 9-6 non-league win over Aurora Central Catholic (Aurora, IL). The Knights record now stands at 19-7.
With the defeat, DeKalb falls to 4-20 on the season. The Barbs travel to Kaneland (Maple Park, IL) to battle the Knights in a non-league test on Monday, May 16. The Knights come into the test with a record of 17-7. Kaneland won 23-15 in their recent non-league test against Normal West (Normal, IL)
