In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Nativity BVM Green Wave (Pottsville, PA) baseball squad edged the visiting Tamaqua Blue Raiders (Tamaqua, PA), by a final score of 8-7.

With the win, Nativity BVM upgrades its record to 11-8 on the season. The Green Wave travel to Southern Columbia Area (Catawissa, PA) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 16. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 10-7. Southern Columbia Area lost 1-0 in their recent league challenge against Central Columbia (Bloomsburg, PA)

With the defeat, Tamaqua falls to 3-15 on the season. The Blue raiders travel to Notre Dame (East Stroudsburg, PA) to encounter the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 17. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 5-11. Notre Dame lost 15-10 in their recent non-league challenge against Pocono Mountain West (Pocono Summit, PA)
