Illinois High School Baseball - Plainfield South wallops Richards
May 14, 2022: Plainfield, IL 60544 Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Plainfield South Cougars (Plainfield, IL) and the visiting Richards Bulldogs (Oak Lawn, IL), saw Plainfield South's baseball squad knock off Richards by a count of 11-1.
The Bulldogs now possess a 8-17 record. They take the field next when they host Blue Island Eisenhower for a South Suburban - Blue battle on Monday, May 16. Richards will play a Cardinals squad coming off a 14-1 non-league loss to Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL). The Cardinals record now stands at 8-14.
