Maine High School Softball - Fort Kent holds off Hodgdon
May 14, 2022: Hodgdon, ME 04730 Fort Kent Warriors (Fort Kent, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Hodgdon Hawks (Hodgdon, ME), 7-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Warriors now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fort Fairfield for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 16. Fort Kent will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 35-16 league loss to Ashland (Ashland, ME). The Tigers record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Hodgdon falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Katahdin (Sherman Station, ME) to battle the Cougars in a Class D North challenge on Monday, May 16. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
