Wisconsin High School Softball - Waupaca nudges Iola-Scandinavia
May 14, 2022: Iola, WI 54945 Waupaca Comets (Waupaca, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Iola-Scandinavia Thunderbirds (Iola, WI), 8-7 in a non-league challenge.
The Comets now own a 10-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marathon for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 14.
With the loss, Iola-Scandinavia falls to 4-1 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host Almond-Bancroft (Almond, WI) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 16. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 10-1.
