Illinois High School Softball - New Trier bounces Zion-Benton
May 14, 2022: Winnetka, IL 60093 New Trier Trevians (Winnetka, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Zion-Benton Zee-Bees (Zion, IL), 12-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Trevians now own a 9-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Loyola Academy for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 17.
With the loss, Zion-Benton falls to 7-9 on the campaign. The Zee-bees travel to Waukegan (Waukegan, IL) to face the Bulldogs in a North Suburban challenge on Monday, May 16. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 9-10. Waukegan won 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Deerfield (Deerfield, IL)
