Connecticut High School Softball - Waterford bounces Windsor
May 14, 2022: Waterford, CT 06385 The Waterford Lancers routed the visiting Windsor Warriors softball squad by a final score of 17-5 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Lancers (14-3) will now prepare for their battle against Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT). The Centaurs go into the Eastern Connecticut - Medium battle with a 10-8 record. In their last battle, Woodstock Academy notched a victory over St. Bernard (Uncasville, CT), 10-5, in a non-league battle.
The Warriors now possess a 8-10 record. They play next when they travel to Edwin O. Smith for a Central Connecticut - East battle on Monday, May 16. Windsor will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Rockville (Vernon, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 7-7.
