May 14, 2024: Carpentersville, IL 60110 In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the Dundee-Crown Chargers (Carpentersville, IL) baseball squad triumphed over the visiting Woodstock Blue Streaks (Woodstock, IL), by a final score of 9-0.
With the win, Dundee-Crown upgrades its record to 4-29 on the season. The Chargers travel to Niles North (Skokie, IL) to battle the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 16. The Vikings go into the outing with a record of 13-16. Niles North won 7-1 in their recent league outing against Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL)
Next, the Blue Streaks confront the Harvard Hornets (Harvard, IL) in a Kishwaukee River outing, on Wednesday, May 15. Woodstock will attempt to advance on its 8-18 season record. The Hornets go into the outing with a 6-19 record after their 23-6 non-league loss to Badger (Lake Geneva, WI).
