Virginia High School Soccer - Hickory knocks off Indian River
May 14, 2024: Chesapeake, VA 23322 Hickory Hawks (Chesapeake, VA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Indian River Braves (Chesapeake, VA), 8-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Hawks confront the Nansemond River Warriors (Suffolk, VA) in a Southeastern challenge, on Friday, May 17. Hickory will attempt to better on its 9-5 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Tabb (Yorktown, VA).
The Braves now have a 5-12 record.
