The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Easthampton/Hampshire Eagles (Easthampton, MA) and the visiting Palmer Panthers (Palmer, MA), saw Easthampton/Hampshire's baseball team gain a win over Palmer by a tally of 12-2.

The Eagles (6-11) will now prepare for their battle against Pioneer Valley Regional (Northfield, MA). The Panthers enter the non-league battle with a 16-0 record. In their last battle, Pioneer Valley Regional prevailed over Greenfield (Greenfield, MA), 8-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Panthers face the Granby Rams (Granby, MA) in a Bi-County battle, on Friday, May 16. Palmer will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Rams enter the battle with a 3-12 record after their 6-1 non-league win over Smith Academy (Hatfield, MA).
