The North Branch Vikings baseball squad (North Branch, MN), was overwhelmed 6-1 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the visiting Hermantown Hawks (Hermantown, MN)

With the triumph, Hermantown moves its record to 7-7 on the season. The Hawks host Marshall (Duluth, MN) to confront the Hilltoppers in a Lake Superior contest on Thursday, May 15. The Hilltoppers come into the contest with a record of 12-0.

The Vikings now possess a 3-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monticello for a Mississippi 8 contest on Friday, May 16. North Branch will confront a Magic squad coming off a 7-2 league win over Chisago Lakes Area (Lindstrom, MN). The Magic record now stands at 11-4.
