May 14, 2025: Newton, MA 02459 The crowd at Wednesday's league battle between the Wayland Warriors (Wayland, MA) and the host Newton South Lions (Newton, MA), saw Wayland's baseball team gain a win over Newton South by a tally of 7-5.
The Warriors (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Sharon (Sharon, MA). The Eagles enter the non-league battle with a 3-15 record. In their last battle, Sharon by Taunton (Taunton, MA), 10-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Lions face the Weston Wildcats (Weston, MA) in a Dual County battle, on Saturday, May 17. Newton South will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 12-4 record after their 2-1 league loss to Concord-Carlisle (Concord, MA).
