May 14, 2025: Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236 In Wednesday's non-league test, the University Liggett Knights (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) lacrosse team overwhelmed the visiting Royal Oak Ravens (Royal Oak, MI), by a count of 16-4.
Next up, the Knights battle the Marian Mustangs (Bloomfield Hills, MI) in a Division 2 Region 7 test, on Thursday, May 22. University Liggett will attempt to move on its 13-0 season record. The Mustangs enter the test with a 9-6 record after their 23-0 non-league win over Avondale (Auburn Hills, MI).
The Ravens (2-12) will now prepare for their test against Troy (Troy, MI). The Colts enter the non-league test with a 5-10 record. In their last test, Troy was overwhelmed by Northville (Northville, MI), 22-19, in a non-league test.
