Ohio High School Softball - Fairfield sneaks past Blanchester

In Thursday's non-league match, the host Fairfield Lions softball team scored a tight 11-10 win over the Blanchester Wildcats.

The Lions (18-8) will now prepare for their match against Peebles (Peebles, OH). The Indians come into the non-league match with a 18-5 record. In their last match, Peebles nipped Fayetteville-Perry (Fayetteville, OH), 7-2, in a league match.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Madison Plains Golden Eagles (London, OH) in a non-league match, on Friday, May 15. Blanchester will attempt to better on its 16-10 season record.
