Hazel Park Vikings (Hazel Park, MI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting South Lake Cavaliers (St. Clair Shores, MI), 21-4 in a league test.

With the win, Hazel Park upgrades its record to 9-12 on the season. The Vikings host Fitzgerald (Warren, MI) to battle the Spartans in a Macomb Area - Bronze test on Friday, May 19. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 7-4.

The Cavaliers now possess a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eastpointe for a Macomb Area - Bronze battle on Monday, May 22.
